"Now let me tell you a shtory of when ah was shix ah used big kid shishors.
I tried to act older than I actually was. And so I looked at magazines just my mom does. I saw the pretty girls with their nice haircuts. And I thought to myself, “Hey, I want one!” So, I picked up a pair of big kid scissors. I took them and I went chop choppity chop. The next thing I knew it was on floor in a clump. And I don’t know why but I started to cry. It looked like a bear just cut my hair. I went to my mom and she sent me to my room. As a punishment she wouldn’t get it fixed. And that’s my story of my ugly haircut."

I'm Rachel Barker. I'm 11 years old and I love waterskiing and all the water hobbies at beber. I like making songs and writing poetry because I can sing or write about pretty much anything. I play the flute and the piano which also goes along with my artistic style. I like swimming and splashing into any water. I love going on boats and cruises with my family. Let's make a splash!
The Golden Turtles
We are the Golden Turtles from Zootopia! We met in college at the Starbucks on Turtle Street. We talked about our favorite music because we all carried an instrument. Everyone went home after exchanging numbers and meet every day at someones house. After 3 long weeks, we decided to form a band called the Golden Turtles because we met on Turtle Street.

We met at the NL Championships when we accidently bumped into each other while getting hot dogs. From that moment forward, we knew, oh man did we know that this band much go.
Taste The Music
I like to swim and draw but especially sing. I’m from Skokie and moved all the way to Beber to create my number one hit single. My favorite food is burgers (with cheese (not kosher)), mac and cheese, hot dogs!
Evil Drip Wizard
I’m from Chicago. I started listening to music in the shower and started singing and my dad heard me and said I have a good voice. So I started singing!
MESH Hits the Studio Late-Night to Record New Single
The band MESH (featuring members of MZZM, Upside Left, and more) did a late-night recording session to lay down their brand-new single "I Can't Help Falling In Love With You."
There was pizza, soda, and plenty of ukuleles! Take a listen to the finished song, and check out some shots from the session (held at a secret location, as we didn't want a mob scene of fans and autograph hounds while we were recording!)

Guitar Building Hobby Goes MAD!
The guitar building hobby was fantastic this week. Four Beber campers set out to recreate the crazy flame-throwing guitar from the recent Mad Max movie (we here at the music program don't ask questions about why Ramot campers have seen rated-R movies, and besides, guitars are rated G!)
After 5 days of hard work, it's almost done, just waiting on a few parts and then we'll get to plug it in and see how it sounds! Check out the photos of the work in progress! Becky wouldn't let us put a real flame-thrower on it, but we improvised. Note the handsome spikes on the tuners. Great job guys!
2016 Music Staff Rock the Talent Show
Every year at the staff talent show, the entire Beber Camp music staff do a number, and this year they chose a rockin version of Beyonce's "Crazy in Love."

The Hungry Fish
We are the Hungry Fish! We write songs about fish flying around Beber camp and enjoying their time snacking from camp's food. The best part of our band was writing about the musical life of Jarvis! We hope everyone enjoys our music! Below is the music video AND streaming/downloadable audio of our song.
The Hungry Fish wrote the song The Musical Life of Jarvis, an origin story of the mythical William Jarvis IV. They wrote, directed, and starred in the video, and the part of Will Jarvis was played by Patrick Stewart of Star Trek fame.

The Flying Turtle
We are the Flying Turtle! We've met at the wonders of the world to try and collect the most majestic creature of all. Our ultimate goal was to find the flying turtle that runs through Beber Camp!
The Supervisory Team Hit The Stuido!!!

Beber Illusion also worked with Shai Morris to create the most ultimate cheetos rap known to mankind! The legend of Beber Illusion will last through the land forever!
The Adam Weber Grill ROCKED Beber 2015
This was a huge summer for the Adam Weber Grill, featuring former members of Dark Side of the Sun and other huge Beber bands.
Julian, Max, Ethan, Isaac, and of course Adam wanted to go for a fresh sound, and took Crown Hall by storm when they opened the Fine Arts Fest (tambourine-bombed by Nugget!) Check out the video below, along with their recordings, photos, and posters!
